Most inspections take about 2 to 3 hours on site, depending on the size, age, and condition of the home. Larger or older properties can take longer. We never rush. Every inspection is performed personally and thoroughly.

Yes, we encourage it. You are welcome to attend, and we especially recommend joining for the walk-through at the end. It is the best time to ask questions, see any concerns firsthand, and learn how your home's systems work.

A general home inspection evaluates the home's major visible and accessible systems and components, roof, exterior, structure, electrical, heating and cooling, plumbing, interior, and installed safety devices, following the InterNACHI Standards of Practice.

Your organized, photo-rich digital report is typically delivered within 24 hours of the inspection. It includes clear summaries and prioritized findings so the information is easy to understand and act on.

Nearly every home has some findings, and that is normal. We explain what each item means, whether it is a safety concern, a major defect, or routine maintenance, so you can make an informed decision. We are always available to answer questions after the inspection, too.

Yes. We regularly inspect rural homes, lake properties, older farmhouses, and new construction throughout the region. Eric's remodeling background is especially valuable on unique and older properties.

Minnesota does not currently require a state license for private home inspectors. Eric is an InterNACHI Certified Professional Inspector and carries insurance, so you get a qualified, credentialed, and insured professional.
